Senior Frontend Engineer
$140k–$180k
We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who loves building beautiful, fast, production-quality React/Next.js interfaces. You'll own entire product surfaces — from the technician directory and booking flows to the real-time dashboard and payment UI.
Responsibilities
- → Architect and build high-performance Next.js 15 App Router interfaces with TypeScript
- → Collaborate with product and design to turn complex workflows into simple, intuitive UI
- → Own performance, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness across the platform
- → Implement real-time features using Supabase Realtime (notifications, messaging, availability)
- → Mentor junior engineers and establish frontend standards across the team
- → Work directly with the founding team in a high-ownership, low-process environment
Requirements
- ✓ 5+ years of production React/Next.js experience
- ✓ Strong TypeScript — you write types first, not as an afterthought
- ✓ Experience with Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, or similar utility-first styling systems
- ✓ Supabase, Postgres, or equivalent backend-as-a-service experience
- ✓ Proven ability to ship clean, maintainable UI at speed
- ✓ Strong product instincts — you can identify what the UI should do, not just build what's specified
Nice to Have
- + Experience in marketplace or two-sided platform products
- + Background in payments (Stripe, Plaid) or real-time systems
- + Personal interest in live events, AV production, or the entertainment industry
Technical Co-founder
Equity: 5–15% (negotiable)
Crewboo is looking for a Technical Co-founder to join at the ground level. This is not a contractor or advisor role — this is a seat at the table. You'll shape the technical direction of the company, own engineering culture, and build the infrastructure that underpins a marketplace that processes millions of dollars in bookings.
Responsibilities
- → Own the entire technical stack — architecture, infrastructure, security, and engineering hiring
- → Partner with the CEO to define product roadmap and technical strategy
- → Build and scale a world-class engineering team from the ground up
- → Drive platform reliability, scalability, and security as we grow
- → Represent engineering in investor conversations, board meetings, and product planning
- → Make hard technical tradeoffs with context of business goals, not just best practice
Requirements
- ✓ Founder or early-stage CTO experience (or equivalent demonstrated capability)
- ✓ Deep expertise in modern full-stack web development (Next.js, Supabase/Postgres, TypeScript)
- ✓ Experience scaling a consumer or marketplace product from 0 to meaningful scale
- ✓ Strong opinions on engineering culture, hiring, and team structure
- ✓ Can ship fast AND build for the long term — not one or the other
- ✓ Based in or willing to work US hours
Nice to Have
- + Background in fintech, payments, or trust/safety systems
- + Previous experience building two-sided marketplaces
- + Network in the AV, live events, or entertainment technology space
