Crewboo is a talent marketplace for AV professionals, operated by Eleven AV Productions LLC ("we," "us," "Crewboo"). This Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of data:

• Account data — name, email address, role, city, country.
• Profile data — bio, skills, day rate, portfolio photos/videos, certifications, equipment inventory.
• Transaction data — booking records, payment amounts, payout history (processed via Stripe).
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, search queries, device/browser info.
• Communications — messages sent between users through the Platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and improve the Platform and its features.
• To match technicians with booking opportunities.
• To process payments and manage subscription billing.
• To send transactional emails (booking confirmations, payout notifications).
• To verify identity and maintain platform safety.
• To send product updates and promotional content (you may opt out at any time).
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these circumstances:

• Between users — Your public profile (name, photo, skills, ratings) is visible to other Platform users. Producers see technician profiles; technicians see company profiles.
• Service providers — Supabase (database hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.
• Legal requirements — We may disclose data when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and Crewboo.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records for tax purposes).

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication (session management) and basic analytics. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but some Platform features may not function correctly.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage, row-level security in our database, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication where available.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, email privacy@crewboo.com. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents may also exercise rights under the CCPA. EU/UK residents may exercise rights under GDPR/UK GDPR. Contact us to submit a request.

9. Children's Privacy

Crewboo is not directed to users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or Platform notice. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
