Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on Crewboo ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. Crewboo is operated by Eleven AV Productions LLC ("we," "us," or "Crewboo").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use Crewboo. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to enter into these Terms.

3. User Roles

Crewboo serves two primary user types:

Technicians — AV professionals who create profiles and apply to booking opportunities.
Producers / AV Companies — Event producers and companies who post calls and book crew.

Each role has distinct capabilities and subscription options. You are responsible for selecting the correct role at signup.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Technician accounts are permanently free. Producers access the Platform through paid monthly subscriptions. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Crewboo does not store your payment card information. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

5. Escrow and Payments

Booking payments are held in escrow and released to technicians approximately 48 hours after the confirmed event date. A 3% platform fee applies to all transactions. Instant payouts (same-day) are available to Pro Tech subscribers at an additional 1% fee.

Crewboo is not a payment processor and is not responsible for disputes arising from off-platform transactions. All financial disputes must be handled through the Platform.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your profile or calls.
Circumvent the Platform to arrange off-platform payments for bookings made through Crewboo.
Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
Use automated tools to scrape, data-mine, or systematically access Platform data.
Impersonate another person or entity.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you upload (portfolio items, profile photos, etc.). By uploading content, you grant Crewboo a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for operating and promoting the Platform.

The Crewboo name, logo, and Platform software are the exclusive property of Eleven AV Productions LLC. You may not use them without prior written permission.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. CREWBOO DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE QUALITY, RELIABILITY, OR SUITABILITY OF ANY TECHNICIAN OR PRODUCER ON THE PLATFORM. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CREWBOO'S LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

Crewboo may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may close your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon termination, your access to the Platform ceases; we may retain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, CA, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or prominent notice in the Platform. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
